2015 Savour Award for Australia’s Best Seafood Restaurant

Brisbane was a busy city on Monday the 26th of October with the 2015 Savour Restaurant and Catering awards. C Dine Bar received an award on the evening for one of Australia’s top finalist in  ”Best Seafood Restaurant”

It is a humbling award and we are so very proud to have received it, being recognised as one of Australia’s top seafood restaurant is something that we have been working hard towards since the opening of C Dine Bar some two years ago.

C Dine Bar is so proud to be apart of the restaurant community and are very grateful for all our customers new and old for all the support you have shown, this award is a welcome addition to our other awards and we will strive to deliver the best quality that we are now becoming known for.

Spring Garden Parties

Official Launch: The Spring Garden Parties at C Dine Bar - Starting 18th September 2015 then every Friday 5pm-7pm and Saturday 3pm-6pm.


The Stage Is Set: The flowers are blooming, the winter jackets are going back into storage, and C Dine Bar is getting its SPRING ON!!!


While Canberra has been slowly thawing, C Dine Bar has been hard at work preparing its New Spring Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tapas and Cocktail menu.


To usher-in the good times, C Dine Bar will be throwing an absolute cracker of a Spring Garden party Friday, 18th of September 2015, from 5-7pm. There shall be $1 oysters, sensational cocktails, blockbuster tapas, live music, and lots of pure awesomeness!!!

2015 Savour Award Winner

C Dine Bar has receive a most prestigious award at the Savour Restaurant & Catering awards for “Best Seafood Restaurant” in Canberra 2015. The awards where held on Monday 17th of August. It is such an honor to have received this award from Savour Restaurant and Catering.

The same evening C Dine Bar also received a top finilist award for “Canberra’s Tourism Restaurant”

It has been such an honor to be a part of the 2015 Savour Awards again and thank all of you who have supported us.

New Winter Menu

IMG_20150617_115734Well the wet cold weather is here for another year but don’t worry we have you covered, literally if you still want to enjoy the aspect of outdoor dining our new garden area has had a transformation and is now fully covered from the elements and heated or else our comfortable indoor seating and our great tapas bar are yours to relax in, but now on to the important stuff.

Chef Dan has been hard at work cooking up a masterpiece of a new menu – This new ground- breaking and mouth-watering menu has a very strong emphasis on the sourcing of premium sustainably fished and farmed seafood – an advocacy that Chef Dan and Shann are both extremely passionate about. Due to popular demand, we are also bringing back “THE Beef Wellington” for all you land lovers. Even our kids menu has had a change including some great healthy options.

PankoAs well the breakfast menu has also had a revamp with such things as buttery spanner crab omelette or panko crumbed eggs with wild mushrooms, truffled asparagus and braised wheat (featured photo) and perfect for the winter House baked beans with pork belly and toasted sourdough. Breakfast is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am

Desserts have also not been forgotten with our ever popular “Cinema” being redesigned to be even more playful and a “Rosemary Creme Brulee” (featured photo) as just some of the new dessert items.  All menus are below in the menu tab so take a look and let your mouth water.   C Dine Bar, Canberra’s Seafood and Steak Restaurant and tapas bar, something for everyone.

To celebrate C Dine Bar for every Monday and Wednesday for the 4 weeks of July will be showcasing some of the best produce available with a weekly changing 5 course degustation menu, each week focusing on different produce. So grab your scarf, jacket and gloves and head out to C Dine Bar and celebrate Christmas in July. For more information please feel free to give us a call and for menus please see below. Spring Garden Parties

C Dine Bar is proud to bring to you our spring garden parties, showcasing some of the best musical talent in the local region from solo singers to DJ sessions. Every Friday afternoon from 5-7 indulge in some live music, $1 oysters and happy hour drinks and tapas. Every Saturday from 3-6 come and relax you afternoon away with some live music $10 selected cocktails and wicked tapas.

 The Gin and Tapas Lounge is open

With over 25 Gins to choose from, comfy relaxed lounge seating, tapas,  and cocktails to die for what could be a better way to relax. The lounge bar is open from 5pm Monday to Wednesday and from 12pm Friday to Sunday. You can even book out the lounge for your function.

Our Philosophy

Our aim is to captivate both the palate and eye by delivering the taste of sea and land right to your table. We are passionate about our perfectly prepared seafood and our Black Angus Beef — showcased in our dry aged meat cabinet.

Sourced from Riverina, NSW our Black Angus Beef is dry aged for 36 days in a controlled environment. The ageing process increases the tenderness of the meat by slowly breaking down muscle fibres.  We believe ageing our beef enhances flavour and improves the quality of the cut. And now we have the Tomahawk at 1.5kg perfect to share.

Quality Local Produce

Fresh seafood in Canberra can be difficult to source, however we have established relationships with fresh seafood suppliers, sourcing fresh seafood and oysters daily. We believe oysters should be enjoyed on any occasion, so we give our customers the chance to do so with our ‘Buck a Shuck’ Friday’s in summer. All our oysters are shucked to order.

Our dishes are created around the natural and fresh flavours of the seafood and Angus Beef to enhance the natural tastes of the produce, from the whole fish to a 450gram Angus Rib Eye you know that you will be getting the best and freshest quality available with fun friendly service.

Canberra is a great place full of great local talent, and we are proud to offer a space for local artists to showcase their talent. Our progressive canvas is designed so that the artist can show the development of their work from start to finish.

John Voir

We are pleased to have displayed work from local artist John Voir. VOIR is a talented local artist showing his new collection for the first time at C Dine Bar. VOIR is a Melbourne grown, Canberra based indapendent artist specialising in aerosol art works, large scale murals and eye popping canvases. For more than 20 years Voir’s work has been found in the streets, galleries and homes of Australia and all the way to Europe.


This new collection of works explores repetition and order in digital landscapes, drawing the viewer into intricate detail comprising vibrant colour and texture, challenging traditional perspectives.
